This is the Annual Teaching Plan for Grade 7 Creative Arts, made up of four separate plans for Dance, Drama, Music and Visual Arts. Across the year learners build practical skills, learn the terms and theory of each art form, and create and perform their own work.

Each art form has its own plan set out week by week for Terms 1 to 4, showing CAPS topics, concepts and skills, resources, informal assessment and the formal assessment task. Most formal tasks are 25 marks, and the mid-year and end-of-year assessments give equal weight to practical and written work.
