1. Are the papers on StudyPapers.co.za official?

Yes. Most of our papers are sourced directly from the Department of Basic Education (DBE) and its provincial departments across South Africa. We also receive contributions from teachers and schools who share past exam papers with us.


2. Do I have to pay to download papers?

No. StudyPapers.co.za is a free educational resource. Learners can access and download past papers, memos, study guides, and exam guidelines at no cost.


3. Which grades and levels are covered?

We provide papers and resources for:

  • Primary school learners
  • High school learners (Grades 7–12, CAPS and IEB)
  • TVET College students (N1N6)

4. Do you cover all provinces in South Africa?

Yes. We upload exam papers and memos released by the DBE across all nine provinces:
Gauteng, Western Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Eastern Cape, Northern Cape, North West, Free State.


5. How do I use past papers to study?

We recommend the following steps:

  1. Download the paper and attempt it under exam conditions.
  2. Check your answers using the official memo.
