What makes Grade 12 CAT exams different from other subjects?
Computer Applications Technology (CAT) is a combination of theory and practical skills. As a Grade 12 CAT student must apply digital skills in exam like:
- Creating a working database in Microsoft Access
- Using advanced functions and formulas in Excel
- Designing Word documents with references, bookmarks, and table of figures
- Developing HTML web pages
- Understanding social and ethical implications of ICT

Each Grade 12 CAT exam is split into two main papers:
