This is the Coding and Robotics Annual Teaching Plan for Grade R (Annexure D). The year covers coding with grids, patterns and algorithms, what robots are and how they help people, and digital concepts such as computing devices, screen time and digital citizenship.
Each term runs over 10 weeks, and each week lists the practical and theory competencies (coded C for coding, R for robotics and D for digital concepts) with a short activity. Annexures also map the competencies per term for Grade R to Grade 3.
