This is the Grade 12 isiXhosa Second Additional Language (SAL) Annual Teaching Plan for 2023/24. It sets out what to teach week by week, covering listening and speaking, reading and viewing, writing and presenting, and language structures, and ends with trial exams in Term 3 and the final exams in Term 4.
Each term is planned week by week (about 11 weeks in Terms 1 to 3, and 4 teaching weeks before exams in Term 4) across four skill areas: Listening and Speaking, Reading and Viewing, Writing and Presenting, and Language Structures and Conventions. Each week also lists informal assessment and the formal SBA tasks.
